High-fired black stoneware clay. This piece is hand-built using my own-made plaster molds and slab-building techniques. The pattern is carved and glazed by hand, leaving the outlines and the back of the plate unglazed. There are two holes in the back of the plate for hanging on the wall. DECORATION ONLY.
